The Stylish Nightlife in Ibiza

Ibiza is famous for its nightlife a reputation that started with the hippies in the 1960s

Today Ibiza is home to some of the world's most famous clubs. Dance music is the tip of the day with House, Garage, Hard House and Drum & Base all having their place. Super clubs such as Es Paradis & Eden in San Antonio are well known for their décor, smart crowd and super expensive drink and ticket prices.

Ibiza has long been the place to be for dance music enthusiasts, models and stars all dressing up for the occasion.

The club scene is centered in the south of the island in particular, San Antonio, Platja d'en Bossa, Sant Rafael and Ibiza town. Ibiza is brimming full with bars, so many in fact you could spend many years without returning to the same bar twice.

The small island has suffered from the drug culture part and parcel of the dance scene and is associated with ecstasy, "the love drug". Ibiza's police have staged a crack down on drugs in recent years and many clubers (as elsewhere) are waking up to the natural pleasures of dancing and the "natural high" of life lived well.

Finding bars & clubs in Ibiza should pose little problem since representatives of the clubs are everywhere, handing out flyers that offer two for one and a "free shot with your first pint".
