Holiday Guide to Ibiza

Ibiza is the third biggest of the Balearic Islands in Spain and together with it's neighbour Formentera is one of the Pine Islands. Widely known for its vibrant nightlife a holiday in Ibiza need not focus on the night scene as there is much else to captivate one on this idyllic island not least the warm clean, blue waters and nearly 60 rocky secluded coves and long sandy beaches that envelop Ibiza. In the interior there are still many unspoilt traditional villages of white houses and landscapes rich in natural beauty. Although not so well known for it's environment Ibiza has a lot to offer not least the Pine and Juniper Forests and salt water lagoons. Walks along the coastal paths from one beach to the other or into the mountains. Alternatively there are plenty of opportunities to take up horse riding, cycling, and the full range of water sports.

Shopping is also a good option in Ibiza. Enjoy the cosmopolitan Ibiza old town with its truely international mix of visitors and visit one of the hippy market.
